The Archies!
The Archies are one of my all time favorite comics. One of my favorite things to do when I was a kid was, after getting my allowance, going to the store to buy candy and Archie comics and spend the afternoon reading them. I loved the Betty and Veronica issues, especially when they had special fashion pages. I still love going to the comic book store and every once in a while I'll buy an Archie comic (along with a few X-men comics!). Every so often I'll buy a vintage Archie if I'm at a comic convention (yes, I am a geek and quite proud of it). I love the comics but, I still don't get the attraction Betty and Veronica had for Archie. I thought he was kind of a dork but, I do love this song which was a number one hit back in 1969. This song is on my list of all time favorites. Enjoy!

I love Archie comics! Although Archie was never my favourite character. Too wishy-washy. If you don't already have it, there is a great book available on the history of Archie comics and their various incarnations over the years. I believe it's called Archie: America's Favourite Teenager.
